New Year!

Hope everyone had a great holiday season!

Even with the winter weather now here the tree fields are a wonderful sight.  Here are some snapshots of beauties from the tree farm this weekend.  From the fruits of the Winter King Hawthorn to the spent flowers of the Panicle Hydrangea the winter season is far from quiet. There are flowering shrubs to be found!  The many varieties of Witch Hazels wait until late fall through early spring to flower.  Pictured here we have the spent flowers of the native fall flowering Witch Hazel and the bright reddish flowers of the Amethyst Witch Hazel.
